How Brandlix marks AI-generated content
Brandlix generates images, videos and text with AI. We believe origin should be verifiable, so every AI-generated file carries a machine-readable marker by default, for every customer worldwide.
An invisible, machine-readable marker
Every image and video generated by Brandlix carries the IPTC standard field DigitalSourceType: trainedAlgorithmicMedia in its file metadata. Nothing visible changes: no watermark, no overlay, not a single pixel. Machines can verify the origin, people simply see your content. In addition, every file is signed with C2PA Content Credentials.
What we mark
All media created by our AI features, whether from the dashboard, the autopilot or the public API: generated images, edited images, videos, reels, carousels, infographics and memes. The marker survives our entire pipeline, including resizing and publishing.
What we never mark
Your own uploads stay untouched: photos and videos you bring in keep their nature and never receive an AI marker. Purely template-based graphics built from your real statistics carry no marker either, because they contain no AI-generated content.
Platform labels
Where a platform offers an official AI disclosure, Brandlix sets it automatically: TikTok's AI-generated content flag and YouTube's altered or synthetic content disclosure. Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn read the embedded metadata and may show their own AI info label.
What remains your responsibility
The EU AI Act requires a clearly perceptible disclosure when realistic AI content shows real people or events. Brandlix marks every file machine-readably, but the visible note in the caption is your call as the publisher. For content showing realistic people, such as virtual try-on, we recommend adding a short AI note to the caption.
