Content Pillar
A core topic or theme your brand consistently posts about.
Content pillars are the 3-7 themes you commit to as a brand. Instead of posting random thoughts, you rotate through pillars: e.g. (1) product tips, (2) behind-the-scenes, (3) customer stories, (4) industry trends. Pillars solve two problems: they make consistency easy (you always have a topic) and they teach the algorithm what you're about (it can recommend you to the right people). The optimal pillar mix changes by platform — Instagram rewards visual variety within pillars, LinkedIn rewards depth on fewer pillars.
