Conversion Rate
Percentage of people who took the desired action after seeing your content.
Conversion rate measures the bottom of the funnel: how many of the people exposed to your content actually became customers (or leads, or subscribers — whatever you defined as 'conversion'). Social conversion rates are typically low: 0.5-2% for organic, 1-5% for paid. Don't confuse with click-through rate (people who clicked) — most clicks don't convert. The best conversion happens when the audience is already warm: retargeted from a previous visit, recommended by a friend, or came from a high-intent search. Cold-traffic conversion from a single post is rare.
